ARTIST STATEMENT
The way in which I have been developing my ideas during the last years, basically consists of capturing and evaluating photographic images that I myself almost always produce using my cell phone, which after manipulating and processing them will eventually be used in multiple media: serigraphs, paintings , drawings, photographs, sculptures, installations etc.
They are generally images of the city, city landscapes of places where I pass or stay and that keep me in a direct relationship with the elements that surround me.
My vision is very similar to that of a photographic zoom, or like the film camera, it transits between the general and the particular, between the domestic and the urban, between nature and the geometry of things, without logical chronology or consecutive. Sometimes, an almost meticulous approach to objects and subjects is unleashed, portraits of people and also things appear; other times the lens opens and I stop at the architecture that allows these objects and subjects to relate to each other.
In short, my work is a constant investigation of the living space, the places where my life happens.

The sublime is now
Desde muy joven sentí una gran necesidad de expresarme todo el tiempo, la única “herramienta de lenguaje” que conocía era el lenguaje verbal, y me frustraba saber que no todos estarían dispuestos a escucharme.
Un dia descubrí que existian “los artistas”,personas que tenian unas ideas maravillosas,y las desarrollaban activando diversos recursos,técnicas y métodos de trabajo para decir cosas con absoluta libertad todo el tiempo sin ninguna interrupcion. Entonces decidí que yo quería dedicarme a hacer Arte.
Atravez de los años tambien descubri que el Arte era algo así como desarrollar ideas y conducirlas sin limite hasta las ultimas consecuencias.
La manera como he venido desarrollando mis ideas durante los últimos años, consiste básicamente en captar y valorar imágenes fotográficas que yo mismo produzco casi siempre usando mi telefono celular,que después de manipularlas y procesarlas van eventualmente a ser usadas en multiples medios :serigrafias, pinturas,dibujos,Fotografías,
Son generalmente imágenes de ciudad, paisajes citadinos de lugares por donde paso o me quedo y que me mantienen en una relación directa con los elementos que me rodean.
Mi visión,es muy similar a la de un zoom fotográfico, o mejor, como la cámara de cine, transita entre lo general y lo particular,entre lo domestico y lo urbano entre la naturaleza y la geometria de las cosas,sin cronología lógica o consecutiva. En ocasiones, se desata un acercamiento casi minucioso a los objetos y a los sujetos, aparecen retratos de gente y también de cosas; otras veces la lente se abre y me detengo en la arquitectura que permite que estos objetos y sujetos se relacionen entre sí. En definitiva, mi obra es una indagación constante del espacio vital, los lugares donde ocurre mi vida.
